Report outages
Power can go out for many reasons - the most likely is a problem with the electricity lines coming in to your property.
Live in Wellington, Porirua or Hutt Valley?
Contact outages@toastelectric.nz or text us on 022 543 8749. We will reply with information and a course of action. If the issue is an emergency or a safety issue (like sparking overhead cables) call the Wellington Electricity Lines emergency line immediately on 0800 248 148. Wellington Electricity will send a technician to solve the issue.
Live in Kāpiti or Horowhenua?
For all outage and safety issues, contact the Electra Lines Company hotline directly on 0800 567 876.
